I've seen some conflicting information regarding RSVP calculations. On one hand, almost everywhere I check, I see the calculation posted as (N-1)x24+40 for g.729 to include the worst case scenario that happens during the call setup. I can see by debugging ip rsvp messages that the invite comes across requesting 40K. If I accept the call and then place a second call behind it, the Invite requested bandwidth jumps to 64K and then 48K once both calls are established. This confirms the rule.
However, if I place two SIMULTANEOUS calls, both request 40K and go over the 64K configured, resulting in one of them getting the "Not enough bandwidth" error. Which is correct? Configure 64K for 2 calls or 80K?????
Thanks!
